October Team Ride Sat, October 22, 2022

Note that the starting location for this ride will be the IRVINE Rock N Road Location (see location at bottom of page).

This ride is open to all, members and non-members alike.  Non-members, we’d love to have you join us! Members, feel free to bring along a buddy or two.

Date: Saturday, October 22.

Start Time: 8:00am (sharp!)

Pre-Ride: Coffee & Snacks served at 7:30am so come early!

Start Location: Rock-n-Road Cyclery in Irvine

Mileage: We will have an A and B group ride. Both groups will start together at a 15mph pace for the frist three miles. Then the A group will split off for a longer route, and the B group will take a shorter route. We are aiming the B group at new road riders, spouses, and friends. This will be a very friendly, no drop pace. We want riders to feel welcome and comfortable. We will have several eperienced riders on the B ride to assist with flat tires and mechanicals should they arise. Please invite your friends, family and neighbors.

• The A group route will ride down the San Diego Creek trail, through Back Bay and south on PCH, coming back through Dana Point, Cow camp and Coto de Caza. Distance is roughly 65 miles. (Click Here for A Group Route Map – RWGPS)
  
• The B group will ride west on Irvine Blvd, south on San Diego Creek trail, around Back Bay and back through Irvine. Tis is a no drop ride, maximum speed of 15mph. Please bring a spare tube, water, and helmet. (Click for B Group Route Map – RWGPS)

Pace: Spirited, but no-drop rule and regrouping.

As always, member and non-members are welcome. No bickering, arguing, finger pointing or shenanigans or you’ll have me to deal with!

Note that this is not a supported ride, so please come prepared with all you need to finish.
