Kenny Fuller Wins National TT
TAYLORSVILLE, KY – The 2010 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships got underway on Tuesday with 28 national titles awarded in the race against the clock. Racers in every age group traveled to Taylorsville to test their speed on a rolling, out-and-back time trial course.
With morning temperatures in the nineties, nine age groups went out for 20 kilometers on the course.
With a 32:26, Kenny Fuller (Corona Del Mar, Calif./Cycles Veloce) was the fastest among men 60-64, taking the gold medal ahead of Ken Louder (Salt Lae City, Utah/Velosport Racing) and Bernard Sanders (Roanoke, Va./East Coasters). Stuart Ross (Washington D.C./DC Velo Limited) and David Stevens (Vilas, NC/Veloproject.com) climbed onto the podium’s final two steps.
