Club Volunteers Needed to Help at Ladera Ranch GP (May 31)
Calling out to all club members! We have secured participation in the Ladera Ranch GP to be held on May 31, 2015. As you may or may not know, volunteering to help run a race event is one of the USA Cycling requirements for sanctioned cycling clubs.
We are in need of club volunteers and are requesting your help with this big event. The main need is Course Marshalls – they are assigned a designated area to assist with the coordination and safety of the riders, keeping the course clear of pedestrians, spectators, cars, etc., keeping spectators informed.
Please Note: Prior experience is not a prerequisite to volunteer… we make it a point to pair new volunteers with experienced volunteers. Spouses and significant others and adult children or friends are welcome to help out too! We will also have a few outgoing volunteers manning the Simple Green booth giving out promotional material and club information.
Time slots are as follows:
- 7am-9am
- 9am-11am
- 11am-1:30pm
- 1:30pm to 4pm
We have set up a volunteer form for those of you who wish to give a little of their time for the club. Cycles Veloce greatly appreciates everyone’s effort in making this event run without a hitch. Thank you.
