Update on Sanda Timbal’s Recovery
Fellow team member Sanda Timbal has improved so much since her accident. Although she can’t always tell how much better she is becoming, her husband can see all the great progress she has made and continues to make.
Sanda still has swelling from her traumatic brain injury. She has to move slowly in order not to get dizzy and needs companionship when walking outside. She remembers everyone she met before her accident, but not most of her doctors (from after the accident)! Her short term memory loss is slowly improving and she has no problem with her speech. Sanda has been booked off from work for a while and has daily brain teasers and other exercises to help get her brain to function normally again.
Sanda’s face looks amazing, and you will not be able to tell how much reconstructive surgery she had.
Please feel free to call, email or visit Sanda, she is at home most of the time except for a couple trips a week to the hospital for her therapy. She would love to see you and really appreciates the company.
News Flash! Sanda will be at Peet’s on Saturday, July 14 after Food Park to see her cycling friends, so if you have some extra time afterwards, stop by and say hello!
